Several Horry County offices relocating to Central Coast Complex

On Friday, October 2, 2026 Horry County offices located at the Olin Blanton Building on 21st Avenue in Myrtle Beach will be closed as departments relocate to the new Central Coast Complex located on Hinson Drive in the Carolina Forest area.

This includes the Horry County Treasurer’s Office, Horry County Assessor’s Office, and Horry County Auditor’s Office.

The South Carolina Department of Social Services and Magistrate Offices will remain open at that location on Friday.

The Horry County Clerk of Court satellite office located at the Horry County South Strand Complex off Scipio Lane is now closed and will be located at the Central Coast Complex starting Monday, October 5, 2026.

All relocated offices will open on Monday, October 5, 2026 at the Central Coast Complex at 10 a.m. The Horry County Police Department Fifth Precinct is currently open at the complex.

While moving, these departments’ other locations remain open and on their normal schedules. The public can also do business with the county by phone or online.
